Tightlined Slam 2020
We filmed the 2020 iteration of the Western Long Island Sound’s tournament, the Tightlined Slam. Fishing conditions were difficult as a combination of a bad moon phase and cold front shut the bite down for the weekend, however, Moonrise Outdoors was aboard a few boats that were able to land a few fish for the film. Working on this project was a pleasure as we are all for conservation and this catch-and-release tournament does an exceptional job at promoting proper fish handling as well as raising money for conservation efforts.

While this was not a paid gig, nor was I filming with intent to produce a video, I did anyways. I brought along some of my camera gear in case we got on something amazing, because you never know when fishing, and ended up taking some shots while we were cruising along and produced this short video for Steve. Out of 2 minutes of footage, I was happy with the result.
